DUSTYCD 2 CLIFF RICHARD & THE SHADOWS : SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY CD 01.2021
Authentic rare recordings of Cliff Richard (mostly with The Shadows) from 1958-1962.
ALL of these recordings (in these versions) didn't appear on any CDs and compilations
released by EMI or Warner Music. Most of the recordings come from TV programs made
at the turn of the '50s and '60s and also the label added some rare concert recordings
from the same period. The quality of these archival recordings is very acceptable but
not perfect. However, after very careful mastering, they sound better than ever.
All material has been edited so that there are no pauses between the recordings and
you can listen to them like one long performance. This release is an absolute must
have for all collectors of Cliff's and The Shadows' rare recordings. Comes in a
gatefold laminated card sleeve and includes a special insert for the disc reminiscent
of Columbia' singles company sleeves from late '50s. 38 tracks and over 79 minutes
of music!

DUSTYCD 3 THE SHADOWS : LOST BBC SESSIONS, VOL. 2 CD 01.2021
As 2020 turns into 2021, we see the release of two CDs collecting together 51 tracks
by The Shadows recorded for BBC radio between 1959 and 1968. Many of the recordings
in these versions have never been released before on any Shadows album.
This sensational collection, entitled 'Lost BBC Sessions', could never have been
created without the great commitment and dedication of the band's fans, who recorded
1950s/60s radio programs featuring the Shadows on their home tape recorders.
So, thanks to them, because they have ensured the survival of these priceless
recordings for posterity. The CDs will only feature 'Off-Air' recordings, but in
really very good/excellent sound quality. Only two or three of the absolutely unique
tracks will (for collectors/historical reasons) be included in poor quality sound.
Both discs are released in laminated, coloured card sleeves with a special envelop
for the disc, as well as an insert with detailed descriptions of the recordings
- with professionally edited recording session dates. All of the recordings have
been remastered from the best available sources with optimal sound restoration and
corrected speed. These sets contain every known surviving 'Off-Air' recordings and
are prepared especially to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the band. They are an
absolute must for all fans and collectors of The Shadows recordings.
